Prosthetic Care Guide – From Opening
1. Opening your prosthetic
Carefully open the box and remove the sealed bag containing your prosthetic.
2. Removing from the bag
Gently take the prosthetic out of the bag. Avoid pulling or stretching the edges.
3. Peeling from the backing card
Your prosthetic will be attached to a protective business card.
Slowly peel it away from the card, supporting the silicone with your other hand.
Do not pull quickly; this helps protect the edges and maintain shape.

How to Apply
Your Prosthetic

For best results, follow these simple steps while watching the video guide:
1. Remove from the backing card
Gently peel the prosthetic away from the card, supporting the silicone as you lift it.
2. Prepare the skin
Ensure the area is clean, dry, and free from any oils, creams, or lotions. This is key for strong adhesion.
3. Apply the adhesive
Lightly spray the adhesive, ensuring the back of the prosthetic has a thin, even layer.
4. Position and apply
Carefully place the prosthetic onto the skin. Take your time with positioning—accuracy here makes all the difference.
5. Secure the edges
If needed, apply a small amount of additional adhesive to secure any lifting edges.
6. Adjust while setting
While the adhesive is still setting, you can gently lift and reposition the prosthetic to perfect the placement.
7. Check orientation
Each prosthetic is unique. Some will have a natural top and bottom, so ensure it is positioned correctly before securing.
Removal of your prosthetic

1. Take your time
Do not pull the prosthetic off quickly, as this may damage the edges or irritate the skin.
2. Use adhesive remover
Apply a small amount of adhesive remover onto a cotton bud.
3. Gently work around the edges
Starting at the outer edge, lightly dab the remover between the skin and the prosthetic.
Allow it to seep underneath—this will begin to break down the adhesive.
4. Slowly release
As the adhesive softens, gently lift the prosthetic away from the skin.
Continue using the cotton bud with remover as needed—never force it.
5. Repeat if required
Work gradually around the prosthetic until it fully releases.
